New music blog find

http://yourneeds.blogspot.com

This guy seems to have good taste. I'll keep looking at it and if he posts a lot you'll find it on the links here.

Speaking of music, last night I was working at my Detroit restaurant job and I was greeted by a table featuring Jack White and Brendon Benson. Interesting. It was all I could do not to ask them each a thousand questions. I suppose they were talking about an album that features the two which is due to come out. Judging by the popularity of both musican's albums this year, I bet this one will be huge. Millionaires by way of music, it just amazes me.

This thing is cool. It changes your IP addie in case of your downloading something that is not yours. The best part of using it is getting around download limits on Rapidshare.de. Though we are cheating them... but hell we cheat a alot of people.

Digital Cameras

I've been thinking for a while about this invention we call the "digital camera". I believe it is perhaps the greatest contribution to art that technology has ever made. I know, you're all saying, 'but the camera has been around for more than a hundred...". The digital camera requires no development, no chemicals, and most of them don't require any knowledge of photographic process or theory to use. Now everyone, that can afford one (they are getting cheaper), can show to someone exactly what their eye sees, without having to explain. The invention gives us the ability to truly examine the question of beauty without having to question the intention of the artist. Aristotle would be happy as a pig in ...

Boxes and More Boxes

Oh this wonderous life!

The play I have written has opened. Its title is "Two Men in a Box". It is about the same, boxes I mean. I could not be happier with the product. So now I wait to be reviewed, I will put those links up when they come (good or bad). I am concerned about critics. Since it is a new script I hope that they looked at what I was trying to say and how I said it as well as the production quality. We'll see. How does one get their message out there? Mine is not political or obscene or satirical, I don't think it is at least. It is optimistic, what's better than that? I would guess that it has something to do with giving stuff away. I wish I had something more solid to give.

Here is a very funny website about boxes

New Link!!!

This page has some very fine music
http://everybodysinshowbiz.blogspot.com

This morning I am taken advantage of
Everything I own I must purchase now

I want to reclaim the world as mine
I will pursue a way to shrink it small enough to wrap my arms around

Afraid of losing my grip I pour glue on my hands
But this glue is not strong enough today, maybe tomorrow

Great blue ball spinning out of control
Do you know how sane we are down here?

S-H-I-T: Here is your history lesson for today.Manure: In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything had to betransported by ship, and it was also before commercial fertilizer's invention, so large shipments of manure were common. It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a lot less than whenwet, but once water (at sea) hit it, it not only became heavier, butthe process of fermentation began again, of which a by product ismethane gas.As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles, you can see what could(and did) happen. Methane began to build up below decks and the firsttime someone came below at night with a lantern, BOOOOM!Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it was determinedjust what was happening. After that, the bundles of manure were always stamped with the term"Ship High In Transit" on them, which meant for the sailors to stow ithigh enough off the lower decks so that any water that came into thehold would not touch this volatile cargo and start the production ofmethane. Thus evolved the term "S.H.I.T." (Ship High In Transit), which has comedown through the centuries and is in use to this very day.You probably did not know the true history of this word. Neither did I------------------------idunno where from

Bloody Day

Yesterday we filmed a bit of the aforementioned movie. The actor we got, I forget his name, was hilarious. I didn't know him before but I was so impressed with his ability to make a character so quickly. Hopefully I will be able to post the whole film on here one day.

Besides that I have a search string for anyone to mine the music they want from google. Just copy and paste it in your google bar and fill in band name-

?intitle:index.of? mp3 band-name

Music and Movies

A recomndation to the noones who read this yet: Mike Doughty's "Haughtly Melodic" CD has just come out and I think it is great. Doughty the ex-leader of the band Soul Coughing has one of the most gratingly beautiful voices and the songs are very alike to the Soul Coughing stuff, just a little less electric.

Secondly, making movies is hard I am learning. I have written a script and it will be made but the preproduction, even for this small film is hectic. Just a rant. I do appreciate what those in Hollywood do a little more now, and would love to be getting paid for it. Maybe one day! (sic)

A link to maybe find that Doughty album is to the right (regnyouth's archives)
